I was born in 2006.

Five years after 9/11.

This may be a unique idea, actually it’s not, but I feel like Anthony Soprano. My entire generation feels that way.

Let me explain--

In the Sopranos, the mafia is degraded, Anthony is the boss, but he feels like he came in during the end.

The good times are gone, he came in during the downturn.

I mean look at the Godfather, elegant meeting halls, wine, bread, luxury.

Look at the sopranos, they meet in this trashy, sticky strip club, and they have the nerve to act important.

They fantasize over the old days, the good old days.

That’s how Generation Z feels around growing up post 9/11.

Never has a generation so diligently longed to not exist. The boomers fucked us over with house prices, generation alpha is done for with growing up in constant stimulation, millennials are fucking cringe (no offense I know this is neocities).

Look at our slang, everything is heading down.

We’re cooked.

Our slang is also like, surprisingly vulgar, I’m not a prude I’m just noticing it.

Check out the wikipedia article for Gen Z slang.

I don’t know, like I said, this is my thought-toilet.
